Ms. Catherine “Nikole” Jones
I am the very proud principal of Tuscany Heights Elementary! The 2025–2026 school year marks my fourth year leading our incredible Tiger community. Go Tigers!
I earned my bachelor’s degree in Business Analysis from Texas A&M University in 1995 and later completed my master’s degree in Educational Leadership from The University of Texas at San Antonio in 2016.
My journey in education began while stationed at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, where I taught computer classes to adults at a local community college. It was there I discovered my true passion for teaching. After returning to San Antonio, I taught 3rd and 4th grade for six years before serving as an Instructional Intervention Teacher (IIT), supporting students with reading challenges.
In 2016, I was named Assistant Principal at El Dorado Elementary and later served as Assistant Principal at Vineyard Ranch Elementary. These roles helped shape my leadership philosophy and deepened my commitment to student growth and success.
I’m passionate about developing well-rounded, 360-degree learners and creating a positive, memorable elementary school experience. I feel truly fortunate to work alongside the dedicated staff, students, and families of Tuscany Heights.
On a personal note, I have two wonderful children. My daughter has completed her college degree in Psychology, and my son, a college graduate, is now proudly working in the field of education as well.
